 This is a family friendly wonderful place in the quiet woods.  The hosts are GREAT! They even helped fix the electrical problem in our motorhome.  It is spotlessly clean and has lots of activities available. Would rate it  5 stars out of 5!10/23/11 
 

     Stopped in for one night on the way through to savannah. Camp owners were super nice and even stopped by our site to check on us. +++ Cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen while camping.  Thanks for your hospitality!  August 5, 2011

 Great new owners,very friendly. A much improved campground as we have been here before. Now a kids playground, volleyball, horse shoes, new electric (really good now),level sites and extra long and still longer. Has really been cleaned up. We have been here a week and so quite and relaxing. Area attactions all around. Makes a good home base to see all festivals and everything. Easy in and out and close to the interstate but amazing how quite it is. Hope to spend a month next year. You won\'t be disapointed in trying it out. Comments: This is a beautiful place to relax. The new owners are really friendly and have made a lot of improvements. It\'s a great place for an overnight stay as it is close to I-16. However, there are lots of activities in the area-- hiking, kayaking, water parks, historic Savannah, wineries, etc-- so a family could plan a whole vacation while staying at Beaver Run. The bathrooms are really nice and clean too!  May, 2011

The lake is beautiful, the sites are private and we are close to the BIG cities. The owners are very friendly and make us feel like family. We haven't seen anyone who stayed even for a day leave with anything but a smile on their faces! It is a good place to have a reunion, Church fellowship, or a family outing. Lots to see and do right here if you like the serenity. It is very close to Guido Gardens in Metter, which is a piece of heaven on earth. The winter is mild and the summer is pleasant.
